It's starting to become clear: The Magic are shopping Dwight Howard. They realize he's sincere and they want to get as much back in return.
The Bulls should be in the picture, but even if the Magic can take in James Harden, Serge Ibaka and maybe the backup point guard (I'm too lazy to look him up) in return, it's a better deal because of Harden's star potential.

Forgive me for being a bit childish here, but if the Thunder manage to add Howard to the Durant-Westbrook tag team, then it's over for every team outside of Miami. I'd take that core over the Heat's James/Wade/Bosh, even though James is the best overall player of the six.
I wouldn't care if the Thunder ask Ron Mercer and Dickey Simpkins to come out of retirement and play starting SG and PF. As long as the rest of the lineup reads Howard/Durant/Westbrook, then it's all over.
That would truly be incredible because you have the exact particular strengths needed for each position: scorer (at the 3), distributor/slasher/creator (at the one), and defensive, rebounding goliath who is capable of posting up (at the five).
It would almost be like a fantasy roster because you can easily fill in the rest with an average rebounding power forward (think Taj Gibson or Dejuan Blair) and a shooting guard who can stand-still shoot (think Anthony Parker).
If I'm the Thunder, I make a move here and move Westbrook. There are people saying it's really for Ibaka and Harden, but that to me doesn't get it done. Eric Maynor can run pinch point and Harden would also create off the dribble.
It also gives you an idea of how good the Thunder are comprised and maybe why they're not currently good enough to trump the Lakers or Heat, even the Bulls because of their defensive deficiencies.
